When you arrive
On your first visit we will have some admitting paperwork for you to fill out. This helps your therapist to know where you would like him or her to focus and a little about any medical history you may have that would impact your session. While you are filling out your paperwork you will be directed to sit in our relaxation room and may use one of our robotic massage chairs.
Your massage therapist will greet you
Your massage therapist will go over your intake form and ask you how they can give you the best massage possible. We encourage you to communicate what you want to get out of your massage session for the day as well as talk about your symptoms and pressure preference.
You will be directed to a room and be instructed to disrobe to your comfort level and lie on the table under the sheet and plush blanket. Your therapist will then leave the room for you to undress. All of our tables are equipped with heating pads, crisp clean sheets and comfortable face cradles. Your massage therapist will then gently knock on the door to ensure you are ready before entering the room and begining your session.
You will always be covered with the top sheet and blanket during your massage session. Your massage therapist will only uncover the part of the body they are working on, ensuring that your modesty is respected at all times. Your room will be quiet with relaxing music playing soflty in the background. We want you to be as comfortable as possible to get the most out of your session.
Getting the most benefit from your massage
While massage therapy is great for stress relief and relaxation on an as needed basis, it’s true potential can only be realized with regular massage therapy. Our massage membership program is best if you would like to experience the benefits of regular massage. We make it more affordable than you might expect. We have hundreds of happy customers who are unlocking the wellness benefits of regular massage and we hope that you decide to become one of them.
Points to remember to improve your experience
- Communicating your preferences to your massage therapist
- If you are uncomfortable about anything let your therapist or our staff know about it
- Let your therapist know before hand about things such as easy bruising or medical conditions that would affect the massage
- Relax and enjoy your massage
Our massage sessions include 10 minutes for consultation and for you to re-dress. So a 1 hour session will consist of 50 minutes of hands-on or “table time”. Following your massage your therapist will wait for you to re-dress outside the massage room and offer you a mint and a cup of water to drink as they walk you back to the reception area.
